SWEDISH is the most well-known type of massage, and for good reason.

Great for stress relief and for boosting the immune system, it can positively impact all the systems of the body, including tight muscles!
I am also trained in REMEDIAL techniques which allow for a more targeted approach, helping to release the restriction of deeper muscles, tendons and ligaments. I will use these techniques if and when appropriate and will always consult with you before, during & after to determine appropriate pressure & effectiveness.

DIPLOMA, CANCER SUPPORT SCOTLAND TRAINING ACADEMY
(FHT ACCREDITED)
The physical & mental health benefits of positive, therapeutic touch make massage a relevant option for those undergoing treatment for cancer or for individuals who have a history of cancer treatment.
I trained with Cancer Support Scotland to obtain my Oncology Massage Diploma in order for me to be able to treat clients safely and appropriately, ever mindful of the cornerstone of all bodywork, which is “Do No Harm”.
It enabled me to understand the unique needs and challenges that individuals facing cancer may experience and to provide safe and supportive treatments, tailored to meet those specific and changing needs.
Oncology massage is a gentle and therapeutic approach that can help alleviate symptoms such as pain, anxiety, fatigue, swelling and nausea. It can also help improve relaxation, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being during and after cancer treatment.
Whether you are currently undergoing cancer treatment, are in remission, or a caregiver seeking support, I welcome you to experience the benefits of massage.

Aims to relax & rejuvenate enabling the client to benefit from reduced tension & increased alertness.
The treatment time is variable (typically 10 or 20 minutes) and the sequence is carried out through clothing with the client seated on an ergonomically designed chair that offers both comfort & support. It is ideal for use in the workplace, at events or for those who would like to experience a reduction in muscle tension and an increase in relaxation but who are either unable to, or prefer not to, remove clothing or lie on a therapy couch to receive therapeutic treatments.
OSAM is ideal for employers looking to actively promote health & wellbeing within their company and may offer the opportunity to:
Adult (over 16 years) Initial Consultation & Treatment £50
Adult Follow Up(s) £45
Child (12-16 years) £25 (must be accompanied by an adult)
This time is your time to let go ... and ... breathe!
For your own safety, I will carry out a full consultation in order to ensure that Massage Therapy is a safe and appropriate treatment, prior to you receiving any hands-on work. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or wish to discuss any health concerns in further detail.
